Martindale

Back in circulation after a busy few days involving trips to Blackpool, Manchester and Clitheroe as well as a lot of gardening. Today I joined an Ullswater festival walk through Martindale the home of England's oldest and purest wild red deer herd. We took the steamer from Glenridding to Howtown. The light on the lake was sublime with weak sunshine, cloud inversions and mist. The main blip is the view from the boat looking back towards Glenridding as we made our way northwards towards Howtown. Saw lots of red deer.In extras is a shot of the reflections and mist as we approached Howtown.
