The Endrinal Sierra

A walk from our hotel,  around the Penon Grande, and the Endrinal (blackthorn) valley.

Tremendous limestone/karst scenery. The combination of greens, light greys, yellows and ochres will be with us all week in various combinations.

Our hotelier made a picnic for us to take with us. Really tasty, although it became quickly apparent that chorizo attracts the local wasps very quickly. There may not be many in Britain this year, but they are doing well in Andalucia.
