a kingy day

I had kept today meeting free to give a more relaxed schedule to travel down to London. I took advantage by getting up early and going to Attenborough Nature Reserve where I had heard that the kingfisher was showing. I struck lucky, he turned up within minutes, did a spot of fishing and then flew by in a blue flash a few times. I was back home changed and still managed to catch the 11.00 train. Happy and job done. 

I have missed my time for wildlife photography since I took on my new job, but will hopefully be able to find time for both soon.
