Penarth.

What started out as a misty day ended up sunny! We went to Penarth Marina today where some friends live. We had a lovely walk around part of the marina then Joe cooked us a lovely lunch (he was a chef!). He had also baked a cake and in honour of my birthday next week - put a candle on it! This is the view from the balcony of their lovely home! Thank you so much Ali & Joe for a lovely day. Going to visit a coal mine tomorrow. Not sure if I'm brave enough to go down inside as I'm a bit claustrophobic. I'll see when I get there. Loving Wales...so beautiful!
