Big Pit Coliary

We visited this coal mine museum today. It's called the Big Pit National Coal Museum and it's a fantastic place. We went down in a cage to 90 metres. I managed well and really enjoyed it. Our guide was so informative. We all had to wear miners helmets and lights and had a battery pack around our waist on a belt. We were down there over an hour with only our own lights to show the way. At one stage we put them off and it was black! It's been misty and raining today. Supposed to be better tomorrow but we are enjoying relaxing together!
