Chelmsford County Cricket Ground

Just got home from my last day’s Cricket this season. Horrible journey back in heavy rain but made it ok. Bit tired after having to walk to the ground from a multi-storey car park, their only very small car park was full.

But I think today sums up my summer watching Yorkshire. Playing against the already champions Essex was always going to be difficult but set over 450 to win, Yorkshire bowled out for 74, humiliating. They have stayed in the top division but need to work hard to be competitive next year.

New ground for me. Not the most picturesque but they made me welcome in their pavilion and apart from the result always good to visit a new ground.
