Lyme Hall

The house was closed today, but it's 14 acres of garden are well worth a visit. Never mind the huge parkland which encompasses everything. 

Lots of signs of autumn everywhere - I am sure it is arriving a few weeks earlier this year than last. Quite a lots of impressive fungi - including a couple of Fly Agaric we spotted (extra).

Lyme still trades off the Jane Austin link - it was Pemberley in the 1990's TV adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
