Chatsworth House

.... featuring the Sotheby's "American Sculpture - beyond limits" exhibition.

I think the idea is, you fly in by helicopter, have a look, and if you fancy a piece you bid privately. These sculptures are by and large bigger than our garden. We'll give it a miss.

In the distance, "One through zero" by Robert Indiana. In the foreground "Column of four Squares Exentric Gyratory III" by George Rickey. Yes, he spells eccentric that way. I liked both of these.

The gardens at Chatsworth are enormous, and with a circular walk from the house we’ve walked miles today.
