Oh yes it is

We went out for a walk around the nature reserve today. Not much happening at Lapwing Lake. The feeders still empty at the feeding station. We then headed to the eastern reed beds via Birchwood pool. Due to vandalism the hide at the reed bed does not have a roof and it had started raining. There were three cormorants on the pool, a number of heron and a lot of geese. Spotted a bird of prey hunting and then saw this kingfisher. I am sorry that it is a very poor photo. It was quite a long way away and I only had the 200mm lens on the camera. It was wonderful to watch it sitting there then diving before it flew away.
