Dark evenings

I love autumn. I love the crisp, cold mornings. I love the fresh sunlight (minus the dreaded heat that I hate) and most of all, I love dark evenings. This picture was taken at 7.40 tonight and the nights are fair drawing in!

I've loved dark nights since I was a wee nipper. I have fond memories of being wrapped up in winter jackets, nights around the bonfire and hiding in dark corners.

Winter is definitely my favourite time of the year. I'd always rather be too cold than too hot. This is brilliant, it's almost time for mittens...bring it on :)
