Madly busy day at work, back to same old same old. We've all been waiting for the rush as September is traditionally a very busy time for midwives. The Xmas and New Year celebrations have a lot to answer for! One too many glasses and it all felt like such a good idea at the time!!
I came home to (albeit rather late due to the work load) to a marvellous 2 course dinner made by my 16yr old step daughter, who was inspired by a cookery class at school. We had baked crab & avocado with a cheese sauce and divine side salad, then chicken with a home made plum sauce on a bed of shredded roast veg with hassleback potatoes. The girl did good. Very good.
