Through the tunnel

Today we all went to Llangollen for the day. It was raining for most of the time but we carried on regardless. We had a picnic then walked by the river and went to see the trains at the steam railway. There were a couple of jackdaws trying to catch a mouse that was zigzagging along the track (before the train arrived) but were outwitted when it disappeared into a hole. I'd never realised that jackdaws would try to catch a mammal.

We went to the playground where the baby had great fun - the photo is of her crawling through a tunnel with Dad behind her. I wasn't going to post another baby photo but couldn't resist this one - sorry! 

The extra is a trio of ladies attending the Streampunk Festival in the town - they kindly posed for me. As we were driving out we saw a man wearing a great costume of Wilhelm II.
