Fangs for the memory!
Today we popped over to the castle as there was a Green Fair going on. There weren't many stalls or people there but we had a look round then mooched around the castle for a while.
This man is a skull collector that works for Shropshire Wildlife Trust. F gave him a pike's skull a while ago so we always have a chat when we see him. He was playing "guess the skull" with my son and daughter in law, it always amazes me how small the skull looks in comparison to the animal's actual head. This one belongs to a Chinese Water Deer and he was demonstrating the fangs that are used for rutting instead as they have no antlers.
We then went out for a delicious Sunday lunch before they went back home. I am now relaxing!
