On the last day of September...

I honestly cannot believe this is the last day of September! This year is flying by!

We were awoken in the early hours by Alan coughing and spluttering. When D went to check on him he also had a temperature. Oh joy. Another horrible cold so soon after the last one! He did go back to sleep though so that's something.

But it's been a day of golf nothingness really other than trying to appease poor Alan who really is feeling utterly miserable. No school for him tomorrow and I suspect till Wednesday at the earliest. He'll miss getting his school photo taken on Tuesday :(( and typically he breaks up for two weeks holiday on Friday.

Hey ho.

Amazingly, in amongst all the nose wiping and trying to persuade him to eat something, I managed to get a pile of ironing done! Yes you read that right. Circle the calander! A special day indeed! ;-))

Quick garden blip today. The Japanese Acer tree at least I think that's what it is! is glorious when the sun shines on it.

Going to have to stop there as the Ryder Cup is actually quite exciting!!!

Ironing AND watching golf??!! I must be ill too!!
