Big Wish

If you had one wish....just one, I wonder what it would be. Don't tell me though or it won't come true! :-)

So here we are at the last day of September already. I know the years get faster as you get older but this has definitely been the fastest year yet. And I can't believe I've been blipping for 6 months!!

5 weeks today we get the keys to our new house. The excitment is building! Next weekend we start the clear out of this house. Garage first, followed by loft, followed by rest of house!

We have a list of all those niggley jobs that have been needing done for ages so they will get started as well. Madness that you are spurred onto doing those little jobs when you're not the one who's gonna get the benefit. They don't take long and you wonder why on earth you have put up with the squeaky door, loose corner of carpet, scuff mark on the corner of the skirting etc etc etc...

And it's sods law that earlier this year, after 14 years of putting up with horrible sticky sliding doors and crap storage space, we finally got around to replacing the old fitted bedroom wardrobes and in January 2010 fitting a new kitchen!!!

Early to bed for hubby tonight as he has to be up at 4am to head to Portugal for his golf trip. All the more wine for me then! :))
