Punting by Kings and Queens

Bit behind on Blipping at the moment, I have Blips to upload but I'm not in a particular hurry to do so!

Friday's therfore is today's, and it's Kings taken from a reasonably stable Queens' punt in the evening. My company was out to mark the departure of one of our support team, Jiaying, and with his status as a Queen's graduate he and a few others in the company are allowed to take out punts from the college. In theory we went for three, in actuality we had two, because "God made it rain on them!" to quote the semi-hysterical lady from the college who was worried we were overloading them.

Anyway, meteorological mayhem aside, we headed off on a quick punt downstream to Magadalen Bridge and then back up to Queen's - it's a good job we didn't try and go for Grantchester! It was a great trip, I took a few photos but was mostly worrying about keeping the camera dry so there were not many good ones to chose from.

Sadly I missed the chance for 'photo of the event' as 200 yards from the end Jiaying overbalanced and fell into the Cam - there was a moderate amount of laughter but he was okay - his wife brought him a change of clothes and the rest of the evening was spent in the pub.
