2017 A Lawn Odyssey

"My god,  It’s full of stars"……will be remembered by those older SF fans from the 1968 film “2001 A Space Odyssey” which in The Boss’s opinion was probably one of the best SF movies ever produced.

So when he spotted the lawn this morning it was all coming back except HAL who seemed to be off line, thank goodness.  

Back in those days the concept of asking a computer to do anything was unheard of and the scene when David Bowman was cranking the memory out of HAL,  who was regressing to childhood unforgettable. Of course I don’t think that Siri was answering your every need back then either but time flies when you are having fun. 

“Hey Siri….Get me some grub”

“I can help you find restaurants if you turn on location services…..”
