Birds fly over the rainbow

We dropped David off in Urquhart and went to Loch Spynie. We intended just to pop in for a look and then go on to Lossiemouth for a walk. However it was beautiful there, lots of birds about and a lovely red squirrel so we spent a couple of hours there instead. Quite busy in the hide which was good to see. Some regulars were there and were talking about sightings of a kingfisher for the last few days, it did nt appear when we were there though.
We still had enough time to go to Lossiemouth for an ice cream and a short walk and take some photos. Really calm with great reflections. We discovered a nice looking place for dinner so after picking David up we came back and had a really good burger , chips and salad.
The light was amazing as the sunset and a super rainbow appeared above the bridge.
Did nt get back till after 9 so it was pitch black for most of the way.
