Red sky in the morning

I think the old saying may be right. A beautiful red sky this morning that kept changing colours during the half an hour before sunrise. Beautiful and a cold morning down to 4 degrees.
The wind has picked up so we've taken the hanging baskets down just in case. Raining hard now too.
The sun did come out in the afternoon and although windy was quite pleasant.
