Liverpool

This morning we said our fond farewells after a very successful reunion in North Yorkshire and vowed to meet again in another 5 years if we are spared - that will be 50 years qualified and I promised to be retired by that time !

We then set off for Liverpool- Mrs AMK's reward for putting up with all these vets for 2 days ! She has always wanted to visit Liverpool and I have only been once so we dropped off our bags and jumped on the tour bus to get our bearings and plan for tomorrow. First impressions are what a lovely city - we are staying at the Albert Docks and this seems to be an ideal place to wander and take photos like the blip of the famous Royal Liver Building.
