sunday stroll

Saw the girls this morning; they’d stayed at dad’s last night so called over to see us today. I made lunch whilst Pierre installed our new downstairs loo and then we had a Sunday snooze.

Later in the afternoon we went for a walk and met lots of people from the village, including Chantal who was in her garden getting ready to pack up for the day.

Pierre’s starts his work at Le Comptoir de Mathilde tomorrow. His shift begins at 5.30am! Here’s hoping the wee man sleeps well tonight and doesn’t wake him up!
