Alghero marina

The hotel is adequate and we have large terraces, facing the pool. We eat breakfast together and then do our own thing before meeting for a drink before dinner. My kettle is a boon!

This morning it was a touristic tour of Alghero with the lovely Franco, our host. It is VERY Catalan. Seems that this year is the year of Catalunya for me.

A walk round the twisty streets, a coffee and then 'home' on the plastic train before a hard afternoon lying on the beach. Following the mistral the water is slightly chilly, but very clear.

Dinner is a buffet - oh dear and a wedding in 3 weeks!!
