MosaiCanada150

September 20th - Temp 29-30

Another hot day, we got out early and walked along Wellington Street to see the Parliament close up. We had a late brunch in Zaks Diner in Byward Market and made a couple of purchases. As it heated up, we took an Aquabus tour to try and get some cool breeze from the water.
We then got a water taxi over to Gatineau to see the MosaiCanada150 exhibit, which is only there for the 150 year celebrations.
It's an extraordinary display of huge living plant sculptures. It was very difficult to pick a favourite, but I have gone for the Mother Nature installation. There is a pano of this in the extras whee you can see my wife at the right hand side of the pic, which gives a better sense of scale.
