Wharariki for nutters

Well we were the nutters today. headed off to Wharariki to try and capture a sunset. Within minutes of setting off on the walk we were in a force 9 gale and hailstones. things didn't improve much. Face beautifully sand blasted (who needs body scrubs?) and hair soaked and matted with rain and sand and sea water.
This shot is as we came away - no sunset but one hell of a storm brewing me thinks!!!
