Leaves

This was what I loved about Autumn as a little kid; a big long pile of leaves you could swish through; the crunching sound and feel as you scattered them in all directions. How sad that we've lost the simple wonder of stuff like that on becoming an adult; that we would deny ourselves that pleasure because we would look ridiculous if anyone saw us.

There was actually a much bigger, better pile earlier on my walk, but they were scattered all over the road before I thought about taking a photo.
