I spend a significant amount of time watching various sports through the bars of an astro cage. At least today, although a tad chilly, is not as drookit as Sunday's footie spectating was.

Tonight we are out in the formartine farmlands at a hockey tournament for yup, you've guessed it, my middle boy.

The eldest and the littlest lucked out with an invitation for tea and company with the Americans and the opportunity to miss freezing feet on the sidelines of the hockey pitch.

My lovely husband is, it being a tricky Tuesday and all, away.
