Brightening up a dull day

Dull, in the sense of weather. Wind and low grey clouds dropping lots of rain.

The locals are delighted as they've gone weeks on the island without rainfall. Hopefully not as much as created folding on nearby Malta. But enough to soak the ground.

I venture out during one of the drier spells to pick up the car from last night and to get some new fly swats. I'd broken the one in the villa with over enthusiastic swatting. The flies can be troublesome if you are wanting to doze in the sunshine so - in the hope that the sun will return - I wanted to get prepared. These colourful versions should do the trick.

We did go for a drive to the east of the island but the weather closed in so returned over some very rough roads to catch up with some reading and postcard writing.
