Diary of an Edinburgher

New glasses

The electrian came to check the lights above our shower. A week or so ago, there was water pouring down from the lights. Upstairs' washing machine hadn’t been plumbed in properly, but fortunately we noticed it before it did too much damage. In fact, it was the day we came back from our safari, so it could have been much worse. We haven’t put the lights on since then, but they seem to have dried out all right.

Archie blotted his copybook by barking at the electrician at the door, ignoring the PC (Pet Corrector). It had no effect whatsoever. Hmmm...

JR went in to her favourite shop (to return an unwanted item) but also to fondle again the big gin glasses we so lusted after at the neighbour’s house the other day. She could not resist them. Archie loved them too.

We then popped down to visit Rufus and his mum for delicious nibbles and to try her new gin.

I've bought a EuroMillions Lottery ticket, so if I win £167 million, I’ll let you know...
