Asparagus Enigma
Up early to the Land again, to accompany Sr Manuel cutting the bravos, but came back early to clean the flat and make dinner - we had the Padre for dinner - who is also our landlord - so really needed to tidy up... He's very respectful of our space, and though we eat together every week, he's only eaten up here once.
Actually, it feels good to have a clean flat.
Anyway, early morning is so beautiful up on the Land. Lots of cutting back of wild asparagus to get to the bravos - you need gloves and strong boots to deal with it. Showed you the flowers; these are the seeds, one of them was red. I've searched the internet, but can't seem to find any information on whether cutting it back improves it, or whether you should leave some... and the locals I've asked don't give a straight answer...
