sad sight

the swans are used to people as the lake is used for fishing

these came over, I expect to investigate if I had food

sadly the one at the front had a length of fishing line and, I assume, a hook, attached to its beak

hopefully it won't harm it but I have found a number of dead ones around the lake over the years

i don't think that there is anything that can be done to help though
