Surfers Paradise Goldcoast, Australia

Goodbye New south Wales and in to a new state - Queensland. The journey on the bus was only a couple of hours, so was very quick. The driver informed us that Queensland don't do daylight saving hours so after recently putting our clocks an hr ahead we have now put them an hour back again - crazy! Gold coast is a huge area and we are staying in Surfers paradise. It has a huuuuuge stretch of beach and plenty of shops and skyscrapers - it looks great. We booked ourselves a bit of an expensive treat tomorrow as it's coming to the end of the season - whale watching. I actually can't wait :D
