Waiting

Well what a day I have had today,up early it was still dark, out the door at 7am to pick my dad up for his 8am appointment at hospital to get his cataract removed.so far so good then the nurse tells us it was a mistake on his letter and he should have come in later, so we had to sit and wait for they said they would try to fit him in.
We waited till 11.20am when he was finally taken through to admissions so mum and me went to a cafe and had some lunch,we got back at 1.30 pm went to reception seen a man sitting on a bed, I said to mum there he is there,so we waved my mum shouted coooo eee!! No response so my mum said to a nurse my husband over there with the eye patch on when can we take him home, come along to the bed the nurse says when my mum gets there she says Mr Rodgers your wife's here well she nearly died with embarrassment .

When we finally found him he still hadn't been done ,so mum and me sat in the waiting room and waited, and waited ,and waited eventually mum and me were the only two people left in the room, and at 3.40pm dad appeared with his notes and medicine saying he could go.

Hallelujah, hallelujah ,hallelujah!!!

So the blip today has to be the waiting room where I spent most of today,we saw it full to capacity then watched as one by one more and more people were taken, this is what it looked like ten mins before dad appeared rather empty.

My mum liked the picture on the wall I wasn't so sure, what i can say is those chairs were very comfy, just as well the amount of time we spent on them.
