Watch Out Speeding Lorries

A very busy day today at work so it was blip time before I knew it. Luckily it was a bright evening so I set of up the high road towards Silverburn. I stopped in a layby and took numerous amount of pictures of the Pentlands. It is a scary place to take photos, with the big articulated lorries flying past you as you stand on the very narrow pavement. When I finally finished taking my snaps I have to tell you my hands were freezing, another sign that summer is long gone.

So with the heating on in the car I headed for home. I had to leave the road and was half on the grass to let a bus pass me on a narrow country road but was never in any danger of crashing.

The blip tonight is this shot of the hills with this nice dyke in the foreground and I just loved the moody sky in this as well. Well worth standing with freezing hands and a sore neck from consistently turning round to check on the speeding lorries rumbling past.
