St. Michael and All Angels

St, Michael and All Angels stands in Wentnor  Village, Shropshire. The village stands on a hilltop with the Long Mynd to the east and the River Onny to the West.

It's a lovely little church, originating in Norman times and reconstructed by Victorian money in the 19th century. It's Harvest Festival and the decorations are wonderful!

We planned our approach to miss climbing the hill by the road, which is precipitous, and took in the gorgeous countryside in the early morning sun.

What a great week we have had! Walking everyday, relaxing (?) every evening. Shropshire is wonderful.
