Little egrets...

... seen in Aberlady Bay. There was also a third, but I didn't manage a shot of all three. We watched them for quite a while before heading off on an excellent walk, starting from the Aberlady Bay nature reserve car park, taking in Marl Loch, lunch looking at a sandbank with loads of waders, then Gullane Point and finishing at Gullane Bents car park, using two cars as yesterday. Stiff chilly wind today as yesterday, but more sun. Again we had our backs to the wind most of the time.

Then I had to pack up and return to Edinburgh, but being back with my boys is a consolation!
