School St

Glossa's streets have always reminded me of a game of Snakes & Ladders. There are relatively wide paved streets just about wide enough for small vehicles, which snake along the contours of the hillside, and there are steep stepped streets running across those. This street runs down the side of the schools, the junior school above and the high school below with the recreational areas between. The recreational areas are where we host international dance festivals and major musical concerts (I am not kidding you!). Most of the laddery-type streets are cleaned by a hungry tethered mule but this particular thoroughfare merits a man with a strimmer plus a man with a broom. Separately, some people do choose to drive down this road but nobody ever drives up. The risers on the steps are just a bit too high for that!
