Back to school a few days early.

The girls and I went to Sovereign Hill today. M was keen to do everything there hadn't been time for on school camp and C couldn't remember going there it was so long ago. S was at work, A preparing all that needs to be done before he finishes at school and R....not that keen to come. Pity, he would have enjoyed it. The girls had a good try of writing with a nib and the school ma'am wasn't too strict, we found some gold, went on a mine tour and watched lollies being made (among other things). It all proved to be a good distraction for M.....we are so sad to have been told last night that her beloved ballet school will close at the end of the year......you can guess how she (and all her friends) are feeling. No idea what happens next but she is determined it doesn't end here.
