Native clematis

At this time of the year, the native clematis is seen in the forest with large bunches of white flowers in the tree tops. It is such a site and is so distinctive. Spotted one growing in the top of a young Rimu tree in the wetlands by the lake, not easy to get to and rather high up, but managed to get a reasonable shot.
Heatherbelle is visiting us at the moment, and this is one of her favourite flowers.
