the calm after the storm...

you wouldn't believe it looking at this face that this child just through the biggest tantrum EVER. we had never seen anything like it, it was actually comical.
it was all over an ice cream. me, mark and erin all had an ice cream on torquay front, erins was dripping all down the cone and on to her hands and she was getting a little bit fussy over it, so i kindly took it off her to clean up and give it her back......big mistake!! i think she thought i was taking it off her, and she kicked off big time. i mean we had never seen her heard any thing like this from erin. don't get me wrong this girl can through a wobbler when she wants but this was the king. so as her 'clean' ice cream was no longer good enough she had mine (it was cookies and clotted cream :( ) but all of a sudden mine also wasn't good enough so she ended up with her dads (chocolate heaven) and this face is the face of the cat (kid) that got the (ice)cream.

so today we woke up in a hotel in bristol, had a dirty maccys breakfast in the room, got ready and headed off for our weekend in Devon.
we got there earlier than check in so carried on to torquay for a look around. we lived it up true sea side style. a walk on the front, shared some chips on a bench, chased away seagulls that were after said chips, and had an ice cream cone (with added drama)

we headed back to the holiday village and got the keys to our lodge for the weekend. lodge with hot tub.
