An Teallach

This stunning view greets drivers as they pass the water shed between east and west in one of the largest glens in highland Scotland.  The road from Inverness to Ullapool takes travellers through some of the most fantastic and easily accessible views.  Views I have driven past so often and yet always in a rush to get to somewhere else.  So often in life we rush around and fail to make time for the moment.  Time for the views, the conversations, the people, the situations that come across the path of our lives but sometimes we let them pass by.  Stop and soak it in from time to time.

The mountain in the background is An Teallach - (The Anvil or Forge) is one of the most spectacular of mountains.  Clinging to its precipitous slopes are herds of ferrel goats - wild and rugged, adding mystique.
