Portsoy Dolphin
Portsoy is one of my favourite places. Nestled in behind the rolling hills of patchwork farmland and forrest, a fishing village cradled amongst the crags and outcrops that form the foundations for stout harbour walls. The walls themselves form an intricate maze that foxes the northerly swells and provide safe haven for fishing fleets of old. A less busy place perhaps now but atmospheric none the less. Over looking the harbour is the spectacular sculpture. The sinuous network of wires perfectly reflecting the flowing lines of a dolphin.
