Work clothes

I've had these scrubs, ordered and paid for by the department, for months. But the trousers were too long, and the tops rather snug over my bum. So today I tackled the problem, using material cut from the bottom of the legs to add a little gusset at each side of the tops.

It's taken me most of the day, but I've now got three trousers, and two tops. One top still to sort. I'm quite pleased, it's made a noticeable dent in the alteration pile. There are still some trousers bought for dad that he barely wore, that need shortening for W. And a pair of trousers of mine need a repair to the hem. Oh, and a pair of curtains to make for the entrance hall. Ah well, it's good to have something to do on wet Sundays.
