A glimpse of sun
Day 9 of the Cleveland Way, from Robin Hood's Bay to Scarborough.
This was our longest day. Mrs P had been struggling on steep steps the day before, so we decided to leave the Way and follow the Cinder Track (a former railway line) as far as Ravenscar. It avoided a steep climb or two, as well as Boggle Hole (sorry colonel_blip!), definitely made for an easier day.
It was grey and misty once again, but less so than the day before, and the sun came through for just a few minutes. From an estimate of time, I think my blip might be at Scalby Lodge, or perhaps disguised sewage works to the north of there?
