Crocosmia seedheads

I can never resist these seedheads. When the autumn sun hits them at the right angle they simply glow.
I had a good result yesterday. My friend works at an old peoples home organising activities. She said they enjoy making lavender pouches but that she hadn't been able to get any lavender this year. I have masses of it in my garden so I gave her a pair of secateurs and let her loose on my bushes. She did it very neatly and has saved me a job!
