Sunlight on rust

I have spent the day sorting out my new work contract as I have only been filling in whilst the boss was on maternity leave. I have reduced my days by one - not a decision I would have made but I think I am quite happy with it as I had assumed that they wouldn't want me at all! This will take me to Christmas and then it will be reassessed. In an ideal world I would like nothing to have changed as I have really enjoyed the last year. And who knows what will happen next year?
In other news it was Mr CG's last day in his job before starting his new one on Monday. In a turn up for the books he has booked a night in a hotel in Bournemouth for tomorrow so we can have a little break.
For the first time I have had to arrange for someone to come in and feed Maisie as we will all be away (hope no burglars are reading this!)
