Bruce Miller's

Bruce Miller's was a shop selling musical instruments as well as records etc. It closed in 2011. I see the inscription on the clock says that Bruce Miller's started trading in 1900, so it lasted a little over 100 years.

In 2015 work started on the demolition of the shop, though the facade on Union Street has been retained. In place of the shop there is a development behind the facade which may be either apartments or a hotel, I am uncertain which. The clock has also been retained and is actually working and showing the right time. The clock is in need of a sprucing up, the soldiers' uniforms are a bit tatty, no doubt this will be rectified when the building works are complete.
