Thatch

One of the houses in the village is having its roof re-thatched.  Today it was Sunday so no-one was working on it but I would love to watch it being done and find out more about the process and where the thatch comes from.  Its one of my ambitions to learn a skill like this.

Today was our 1st wedding anniversary so we celebrated by having lunch back at The Kennels at Goodwood where we were married.
