Nord zee

We all drove to the north coast of the island (about 10 m away) in the hope of better weather and easier walking. Not only was the weather much better than yesterday but we were on a beach in the lee of a truly massive dyke, so were able to walk quite a distance along the shore.

Then it was back to the house to clear everything up and pack it away in a seaman-like fashion in order to return to Leuven. We just shared a couple of pintjes with our old friends before heading for bed and an early night.
