October rose

Back in the UK safely and back at home looking for a job. Today is a day of laundry and unpacking. Tomorrow we are running the community orchard day in the village, so we went shopping for some last minute bits and bobs and I took this picture of a rose on my way home.

We bought the plant about 20 years ago from a Somerfield shop and moved it around in a tub until we bought our current house when it was finally planted in the ground and grows very well by the front door. I've taken pictures of it many times before and it was the subject of my very first blip: Flower Picture Number 1
