Riverside Railway Bridge....

Emily has returned to Wellington. I drove her to the airport late this morning. She sorted her own booking and baggage issues like the seasoned traveler that she is! I will miss her company.
We had a sou-west wind change which brought heavy rain this afternoon. Just as well Maisie and I went for a walk early this morning. We walked downstream from where we usually park the vehicle. A fine morning with some cloud around. Keith, Margaret and our oldest son James phoned while I was walking.... they were in a Thai Restaurant in Edinburgh, Scotland, ordering their evening meal!
As the usual Omaka Ford is out of action access is limited to the true left bank. Here, in the distance, a man and his dogs are crossing using the Riverside Railway Bridge.
